About Benchtrail

Benchtrail is a small web tool at computerrepairs.info for one job: keeping your place while you take apart and put back your own computer.

It came from a familiar problem: a laptop back together, and two screws left on the desk. Writing each step down as it happens, with the screws kept per step, fixes that. Benchtrail is that notebook, with the reassembly order worked out for you.

It is run by WeldonPC (weldonpc.com). It has no staff answering questions inside the tool, no technicians and no shop. It does not know how any particular model comes apart and never claims to; the maker’s service manual is the place for that.

What is stored: the text you type into a job, the time it was made and last opened, and per-address counters used to slow down abuse. See Privacy.
