What a job stores: the job name and device kind you choose, each step’s text (part, screw count, driver, size note, cautions, note), the reassembly ticks, and when the job was made and last opened. No photos or files.

The link is the key. The database keeps only a one-way hash of your job link, so the link cannot be looked up or recovered if you lose it. Anyone you give the link to can change the job; give helpers the read-only share link instead.

Abuse limits: to slow down abuse, the site counts actions per network address per day, stored as a salted one-way hash, kept for two days.

Server logs: the web host keeps standard access logs (address, time, page requested) for a short time. Those logs include the page address, so they include job links.

Deleting: the Delete button on a job removes it and its steps at once. Jobs not opened for 400 days are deleted automatically. Nightly database backups are kept for 14 days; database copies taken at each software update are kept on the server up to 30 days, then deleted. One offline copy of each update is also kept for rolling back, and can outlast that.

Payments: none are taken during the preview. When they start, PayPal will handle them and this page will say what PayPal shares with us.
